Did you know that there is an Employment Subsidy Scheme Memorandum which you could possibly apply for. Timeframes quite tight in that closing date for submission is 23rd December. This scheme effectively gives up to €9,100 for each employee “saved” (whereas you were going to make someone redundant next year you are now not going to under the scheme). Bit of work involved but something that could be worthwhile considering.
Minimum criteria is that the company must be an employer of 10 or more employees but that’s about it.
